Center of Excellence for Rural Development (CERD) has been actively involved in service delivery to internally displaced and conflict affected people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Ex-FATA (Tribal Districts) since 2007. These services include, Health & Nutrition, Child Protection, WASH, Food and Non Food Items, Shelter, Gender, Camp Coordination & Camp Management, Community Services, Vocational Training, Infrastructure Development, Cash for Work and Livelihood initiatives. Similarly, we have been involved in service provision to flood-affected community in KP and Ex-FATA since 2008, reaching out to hundreds of thousands of people affected by conflict, militancy, floods and earth quake.

We are also working for the Afghan Refugees in camps as well as host communities. Our services for Afghan Refugees range from WASH, Vocational Training and infrastructure development to Social Cohesion and Peace Building programs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Ex-FATA (TDs).

CERD’s development programs and Projects primarily target disadvantaged and underprivileged communities in different parts of KP and Ex-FATA (TDs). Our development intervention focuses on strengthening of legal aid and civil defense services, promoting good governance, health & nutrition services, protecting women and children’s rights, improving community infrastructure and implementing agriculture, livelihood and Cash for Work initiatives.
